Bluetooth OBDII and phone? - budman1758 - 08-10-2020

Probably a dumb question but if you are using a Bluetooth OBDII reader then you can no longer pair the phone at the same time?

I see a wifi enabled ELM327 on Amazon.  Why no support for that or is that in the works?

You can use your phone and OBD-II adapter at the same time (when both are connected to the Raspberry PI). Why do you think it would be an issue?

We have support of WiFi ELM327 adapters on our backlog but it is not a priority at the moment.

I was under the impression that only one Bluetooth device at a time could connect.

There is no such limitation.
